Making your own giant bubbles is fun and easy!
There’s lots of different ways to make giant bubbles and recipes for bubble liquid – but if you are short on time and looking for a quick start – the 2L bubble liquid sold at Target/Kmart/ Big W is actually fantastic for giant bubbles!
DIY Bubble Wands
The easiest place to start with DIY bubble wands is pipe cleaners! The fluffs catch all the bubble liquid and make blowing bubbles easy as. Bend them into whatever shape you like – and combine pipe cleaners to make bigger wands!
Cotton twine and 2 plastic straws is a super simple way to make big bubbles, just tie the string through both straws making a loop. To blow bubble hold the straws and pull them apart to make a square.
Even bigger bubbles!
If you’ve got a little more time on your hands you can make even bigger bubbles.
Materials
2 x dowel/sticks approx 40 cm long
1 x cotton string approx 1 m long
1 x cotton string approx 80 cm long
Once you have the materials assembling a giant bubble wand is easy peasy!. Simply tie your strings to your sticks with the knots as on top of each other as possible and you are ready for action!
