Meet Our Founders
Cheeky Faces was founded in 2012 by the amazing Ciara Thorburn. Since 2022 the company has been lovingly handed over to the energetic Latonya Wigginton and Ambrose Kelso.
Working in the arts since 2014 Ambrose and Wigginton have a passion for creating joyful moments the light up the days of our clients.
Along with their artistic flair this duo also bring degrees in Business Management and Science to the table, allowing them to cut through the chaos that can accompany running live events with organisation, planning and professionalism.
Along with Cheeky Faces Entertainment this dynamic duo are also the brains behind circus and performance company Sparkle Society Arts. No matter the project you can expect friendly service and a can do attitude!
Our Promises
1. 100% attendance at every booking – we work with a team of professional face painters and balloon artists to ensure that once your booking is made we will be there! Say good bye to last minute cancellations.
2. The show must go on – Our team of artists have a can do attitude and will work with you on the day of your event to sort out any bumps in the road
3. Always professional – You can expect courteous service, artists who are great with kids and always with appropriate working with children checks, insurance and cosmetic grade face paint supplies.
Our Values
1. Artists First – We are an artist led company and so treating our artists fairly is our top priority. Our fees cover insurance, super and travel costs for all our artists.
2. Inclusion – We work with a range of artists and have inclusive hiring policies that encourage LGBTQIA and Culturally Diverse artists to work with us.
3. Access – We work hard to remove barriers to participation in the arts whether due to disability, financial barriers or living in regional and remote areas. You can read more about the work we do to remove financial barriers below.
